An exclusive one-to-one appointment to understand your vision for your wedding day. This consultation provides the opportunity to explore the showroom collections and discuss the sentimental details that will make your wedding gown uniquely yours. The first stage in your personalised design journey, where you will meet directly with Eden to create something truly meaningful for your special day. The atelier team will be in touch beforehand to discuss any styles of interest and advise on which service aligns with your vision.

The timeline for each design varies considerably depending on the number of necessary fittings and the intricacy of the design. A timeline will be discussed and agreed upon in the initial consultation to ensure the design process is executed without limitation.  Please note that the Wedding Wardrobe, Heirloom and Made-to-Order pathways have a significantly smaller lead time than Couture.

We are a small yet dedicated team, and may be able to make exceptions for orders within a smaller time window. Please enquire via our contact page here if you have a shorter lead time, as we may be able to accommodate.

Eden will be in touch following your initial appointment to discuss your design and the next steps. A second fitting may be scheduled where preferred, and mood boards and sketches began for Couture and customisation services.

Embracing individuality, Made-to-Order gowns are fully customisable with options for couture design adaptions and personal embellishment details. Each gown is artfully designed and created with endless possibilities in mind. Personalisation designs will be hand-drawn following the initial consultation, and then appliquéd to the dress by needle and thread later in the process. These designs can be anything from simple florals, monogram letters and dates to intricate beadwork and sentimental additions.

Following the design process, our skilled tailors move into pattern cutting; the creation of a two-dimensional design that serves as the foundation for your three-dimensional gown. For Couture and Made-to-Order gowns, this stage ensures the gown is perfectly tailored to you. For Heirloom orders, this stage allows Eden to cut a made-to-measure gown from a cherished heirloom wedding dress you own, or make innovative changes to one from our own vintage library.

A series of 1 to 2 fittings in your final bridal look, complete with any embellishments and intricate design details. It is essential to wear the shoes and underwear that you plan to wear with your dress during these fittings to allow for any necessary meticulous adjustments.

This is the final try-on, and an opportunity to add any accessories that complement your bridal look before your big day. Brides may collect their gown after this fitting, or arrange a shipping date to take their unique gown home.
